Christie Bevington GRI Scholarship


The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) program offers comprehensive training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process. Earning the GRI designation distinguishes REALTORS® as professionals with expertise in these critical areas, making them stand out to prospective buyers and sellers.

Named in honor of Christie Bevington, a dedicated member of the Nebraska REALTORS® Association for 23 years, this scholarship reflects her passion for the GRI program. Christie has been instrumental in promoting the value of the GRI designation, emphasizing its importance for newer agents. Her commitment to professional development and education has inspired many in the real estate community.

The GRI program is highly valued for its in-depth curriculum and expert instructors, who provide agents with the essential knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive market. The program fosters a supportive learning environment, helping agents build lasting professional relationships.

The scholarship covers the cost of the six required GRI classes, totaling $1,394.00. Each class is priced at $249.00, except for GRI Rookie Training, which is $149.00. Eligible applicants must be new to the GRI program, have been licensed for less than five years, and adhere to any other designation requirements. Reimbursement will be provided upon the completion of all six GRI classes.

GRI Rookie Scholarship


Each year, we offer 10 Rookie Scholarships for the GRI Rookie Training Class, which takes place during our Annual Convention in April. This program provides agents with comprehensive, hands-on training in listing, selling, marketing properties, and managing a real estate career. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of a REALTOR®'s primary functions, reinforce their professionalism, and learn how to build lifelong client relationships.
